Got a call or e-mail from a potential client & now you can’t reach him or her?
This was happening to me more often than I care to admit; via both phone AND e-mail.
I am usually available 6am – 11pm & pride myself on ALWAYS answering the phone.
Obviously, there are a FEW exceptions – but I ALWAYS call back right away.
There were a few times where I was just ending a conversation on the other line & didn’t “click over” fast enough.
So I called right back (not a minute later) and got voicemail, and kept getting voicemail after several attempts.
The same thing happened with emails on a few occasions. I’d get an email & reply within mere minutes, then follow up with a phone call – nothing!
UNTIL… a friend suggested that maybe the person who just called or sent an email, was doing so from work.
The answer – TEXT.
OK, so it’s not some new form of communication, but most professionals don’t use it in the following manner:
If you reply via the same medium they used & get no response, try texting them.
It’s not the most professional form of communication, but it works! Just a quick text apologizing for missing their call or explaining that you replied to their email & asking the potential client to call you back when it’s convenient. You might be surprised how often they’ll text you back. Try it.
Your stuff is excellent. At all times maintain it up!
Helped me a lot, just what I was searching for :D.
Hello. fantastic job. I did not expect this. This is a great post. Thanks!
