Don’t get stuck with no A/C in the middle of summer. If you haven’t had you’re A/C system serviced within the last 12 months, call your local HVAC company to schedule a check-up.
Standard A/C Maintenance
Maintaining optimal performance of your cooling system is much easier with regular maintenance. Over time, dust and debris accumulate, leading to declines in efficiency and performance. By keeping components clean and functioning smoothly, your system will effortlessly handle even the hottest summer temperatures. Proper A/C maintenance should also identify and address issues early and possibly prevent the need for repairs.
A complete & proper HVAC Maintenance should include ALL of the following:
Change the Air Filters.
Clean all vents & registers.
Check the thermostat.
Tighten/secure all electrical connections.
Inspect the refrigerant lines.
Ensure condenser is properly supported and level.
Clean evaporator coils & cooling fins.
Check and clear the condensate drain line.
Inspect ducts.
Run final test – check for adequate distribution
The most common / easily avoided issue with most residential A/C systems is a clogged condensate drain line. Because of this, there are two devices that we recommend.
